A. Rational
You cannot effectively manage other people until you manage your self. By focussing on the skills of self-management, this workshop enables participants to build the ability to be more effective as a leader of themselves and others.
B. Objectives
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to –
- Clarify how to organise their time
- Analyse how they currently spend their time
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Decide on what is “urgent “ and what is “important”¨ Identify what wastes their time and how to remove time wasters¨ Develop the personal skills for managing interruptions
- Know how to develop and use tools for managing time more effectively

Methods will include a combination of presentation, group discussion, group exercises, personal feedback, and self-assessment techniques. The workshop style will be interactive, and theories presented link directly to the day to day practical issues of managing time that participants face at work.
