A. Rational
There are many situations in business life when people do not have or use effective influencing skills. Leaders and managers may have the most up to date leadership theory, but often cannot communicate. By developing effective communication and influencing skills, effectiveness is enhanced and ideas/messages are delivered in a way which ensures understanding – helping people work with rather than against each other. 

B. Objectives
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to –

  • Improve their influencing skills and effectively get their view across to others 
  • Build win-win solutions based on their ability to influence others
  • Understand their personality style and its influence on others
  • Enhance their personal impact skills¨ Enhance performance and business success by effectively communicating their message¨ Build positive team atmosphere were all points of view are heard¨ Build improved communication with other departments, other locations and with clients

D. Methods
A combination of presentation, group discussion, group exercises, personal feedback, and self-assessment techniques will be used. The style will be interactive, relating the theories presented to the day to day practical situations that the participants face at work. Participants will be asked to think of work situations and relationships involving differences and conflict, that they would like to focus on during the workshop.
