3. Coaching stages & contract
Stage 1. Clarification from referring manager on issues for focus in coaching sessions + meeting with coachee
-
to agree on 3 or 4 specific results the boss wants to see as a result of coaching

hear about the context of coachee’s job

specific skills required to do the job well

gain agreement of all parties on coaching focus
Stage 2. Sessions – we like to take an initial 4 sessions of one and half hours duration

feedback from others or from instruments

identifying the desired behavioured

operationalising the goal

guided self reflection, and or self observation
-
exploring for old patterns and beliefs
-
identifying thinking, emotion, behavior that blocks achieving goal
-
coaching for change

identifying blocks and barriers

making new choices

and planning strategies

modify goal ( if need be)

implementation and behavioural experimentation

Affirming & changing of mindtalk/ self instructions

Changing routine or behaviours

Adopting specific tools /ways of managing emotion
Stage 3. Meeting with referring manager and coachee to assess progress
Stage 4. Termination or additional sessions contract
4. Policies & Procedures
How We will Meet
We will normally meet face-to-face at a location of your choice.
Changes/ Cancellations
We request that you make our scheduled coaching calls a priority. On the rare occasion when you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance.
Extra Time
Clients are free to call us between sessions if they cannot wait to share a success, need advice, have a challenge, or just want to check in. We do not bill for this type of additional time if it is kept to a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes each.
Confidentiality
We will share progress on the goals agreed with the organisation but we keep confidential the specific content of the sessions.
