BELBIN TEAM PROFILING INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for using the Belbin Team Profiling system. In order to facilitate process of preparing your profile, please read the following instructions to complete the forms online:
 
STEP 1: Please click here to access the e-Interplace Team Role Advice page.

STEP 2: On the top left hand side, enter the corresponding Serial Number and Password provided by Global Leadership Academy. To request for a Serial Number and Password for yourself or a group, please send an email request to belbin@pacific.net.sg.

Follow the instructions on-screen to take the self-perception inventory (SPI) for yourself. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes of your time. Please answer this based on how you think you perform in reality, and not how you wish you would ideally perform. Please complete your SPI by the deadline specified by GLA.

STEP 3: Once you have completed your SPI input, you will be notified via email of your successful input together with a new URL link (this is different from the above mentioned link) for your observers.

STEP 4: Send an email to invite four colleagues (which should include your immediate manager plus a mixture of colleagues and/or subordinates) who you believe would be able to give candid feedback on how they perceive your style in teams.  These "observers" can access the new link and they will fill in their version of the inventory for you.  Their version will take approximately 5-7 minutes. Cut and paste the following to your email
 

Dear ______
I am completing a team profiling process and would like to ask you to be one of my 4 observers. This involves choosing from a list of positive adjectives and from a list of negative adjectives the words that you think most clearly describe my style in teams.
This will take you only five minutes and your individual responses will remain confidential. Please complete this no later than (give date).

Important Note: Remember, you need to complete your self-perception inventory, first before you can invite others to do an observer inventory of you.
